Pre-Holiday COUNTDOWN!
So... I have decided I am going to do a Pre-Holiday COUNTDOWN. Beginning November 1st, my plan is to "count down" the pounds. I am going on a diet for the Pre-Holiday season. I will no longer be eating any junk food items including candy, baked goods, and sugar filled foods. Also, I will exercise at least 3 days a week. My goal is to continue the "no junk food" diet up until the day of Thanksgiving! I will continue to exercise 3 days a week until the end of the year 2008. (I figure that by the time 2009 comes, I can make some great New Years Resolutions!) Anyone wanting to join me is welcome. Also, I would love to have any support. Feel free to cheer me on! I will keep you all updated on this glorious experience, of which I am sure will be successful! Thanks!

You are going to do great! I would love to join you but we are going to France in a week and I really want to eat those French pastries... but when I get back count me it! I love you and you still need to tell me what you want from France...
PS I love how some one else is up at this hour... it is 10:30 am here!
Go Mindy! I'm doing the same thing! Excercising anyway....I'm hoping that I won't need to cut the junk..... let me know if you want to exercise sometime!
I'm with you. I just put together goals today on how I can lose 10 lbs by Thanksgiving and 15 by Christmas... your 3x a week sounds like a great idea to me!!
What are you doing for exercise? Do you have any suggestions for me who has two little ones?? For some yummy non-sugar food I recommend the new Sunflower Market. Great sales on fruits and vegies -- gets me to drive all the way down there. It's right across the street from university mall.
Ooo, Mindy, for a good non-sugar snack, too, you should drink Italian Sodas. Get the sugar-free syrups, diet sprite, milk and whipped topping...no sugar and the only calories are about 20 from the whipped topping. It is heaven! I'll get the recipe to you, if you want!
Good luck! Friends of mine talked me into running a 10K on December 13th. So, that's my exercise, I suppose. I can't seem to "diet" (Food in general is way too important!) so thank goodness for running...
