Happy Birthday Bradley!! You're TWO!

A Happy happy Birthday from all of us to you! We are so happy that our Brad is TWO years old! On Saturday, January 30, 2010, we had a birthday party for Brad. He was so excited to have a couple of the neighbor kids over. He just has a blast with them. The biggest highlight of the day was the train cake. Brad is obsessed with "Thomas the Train", and he has been talking about having a train cake for the past month. It was my first real experience decorating a cake, but I was pleased with how it turned out... and Brad couldn't have been happier! When he saw the cake he was just in heaven. I wish I could have captured his face the way it was that night. "Ooo!" and "Ahh!" filled the air. Blowing out the candles was a blast. He had so much fun and was so excited! Although it took a while to blow them out, with Dad and Mom's continual encouragement, Brad was at last successful. We were so proud of him and he was estatic! Check it out!We all ate our cake in the kitchen. I never realized, but with 5 little kids, cake just suddenly ends up all over the house no matter what you do!!! Brad did pretty good over all and I really tried to put on my "cool" face and let a little mess go. At least on his birthday the kid should get to eat however he wants! Presents were also a big hit! At the beginning of January, we found a great deal on this little kids table and so it has been set up since then. He plays at it almost the whole day with cars, dinosaurs, trains, and little people. He is such an organizer and very methodical (like his daddy), and therefore, he always has everything set up in lines and sets to keep all the toys in the "the right place" for him! Also, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the little people bus! We love loading all our toys in it and going for a ride. Look at that smile... is that just pure content or what?
