Inspiring Ideas...
So, I have been trying to figure out how to decorate our kids bedroom, with a toddler boy and a baby girl on the way. Since we only have 2 rooms in our home, the kids will be sharing, which will be good, but it does make it a little harder to decorate. After looking at many pictures and searching ideas, I am in love with this room. Mainly I love the color palate. The yellows and blues of the room are gender neutral, but also so charming. I am thinking that if I can do some strips and florals along with maybe some stars and then pictures of my kids on the walls it will just be charming. Stay tuned for more inspiring ideas regarding the kids room. We will just have to wait and see what my mind, heart, and the budget all agree on!

I think that room is so cute! And a lot of the little extra touches are so easy...and inexpensive. I saw an episode on HGTV (I am an addict) where they used blues, greys and oranges in a gender neutral room. It sound weird, but it was really cute! They had florals and stripes too.
Thanks for posting your last list of ideas and projects, I looked all of the blogs and decided on some crafts of my own I wanted to try! :)
Hope you guys are doing well!
What a fun color palate! I think that would look really good for a boy/girl room. I painted my craft space green, because if we're living here when we have kids, it has to be his or her room and I figured green was good. Especially since I really wanted a green room!
LOVE IT. You know, Connor and Beth shared a room for almost two years, and it worked great. It got to where Con would nap on my bed and Beth in the crib, to be honest, but it still was awesome. Kids slept together at night great, napped for as long (or little) as they needed during the day, and Mom had quiet time, too, sigh.
I have had the same problem since my kids also share a room. Me being the cheap person I am ESPECIALLY when it comes to home decor I didn't want to buy all new bedding for Mason's big bed he was already in, so I just spun off it a little. Green is kind of the main color in their room and Mason's side is more boy with trains sheets and stuff and Brynn's side is more girly with flowery things. I'm not going to claim it'll be featured in a magazine anytime soon, but it works for us. Good luck.
