Last night we had the first BIG SNOW of the season! This means that it was enough snow to cover the grass and stay there until spring! So, of course, we had to go sledding... 
... in our backyard!
We have this awesome hill behind our house, and it is the perfect hill for "little kid" sledding. In the picture, it kind of looks like Jon is dragging Brad up the hill, but this is not the case. Actually, Brad was thrilled to be out in the snow! The snow was just so deep that Brad couldn't walk up the hill very good on his own in all that snow gear!

This picture totally cracks me up because it looks like Brad is adjusting his gloves to get ready... with all that intense sledding! 
And... off we go... with a smile of anticipation!
Brad had so much fun! After his sledding runs, I would comment, "That was awesome!" After which Brad would exclaim, "Yes, I know Mom!" I love that he had so much fun! If we had some decent kids gloves, then I think he would have stayed outside all day! He loved it!And, you may ask... what about Emily... all stuck inside... in the warmth of our home... during the whole sledding experience!
She was just her happy self, crawling around the house! But, what do you think she is telling me with that adorable smiley face, and her hand on the sled?

SO GREAT! Love the adjusting the gloves pictures. And how cute is Emily? Is she always that pleasant? If so, she and Oliver obviously came on the same boat. Must have been in the stars.
So fun Mindy! I just can't believe how fast time goes!! Emily is already SO big. She looks so much like you to me. What do most people say? Brad reminds me of John and Emily reminds me of you. Hope you guys had a Merry Merry Christmas!! Happy New Year! Miss you and love you...
