Iowa vs. Ohio St. Football

Ever since moving to Iowa and seeing the complete chaotic and intense fans of Iowa each saturday for the Iowa football games, we have wanted the chance to experience the fun... in a "clean party" sort of way! Well, we were finally able to go... with a huge THANK YOU to Dad and Mom Scott! This weekend was all planned about two months ago, but on November 20, 2010 Jon's childhood dream of going to a Big Ten football game came true. And, what made it even better was the week long visit of Ryan and Kellie's family to the midwest. It worked out great that the game was the weekend before Thanksgiving, and so they were able to come for the game and then Thanksgiving in Kansas City. They flew into Kansas City, and then drove with Dennis to Iowa City to visit and so Ryan could come to the game. We will also give a shout out THANK YOU to Kellie who was so willing to watch our kids so Jon and I could go to the game! We had a great time with all our visitors for the weekend. Jon and I are very happy to say we have now been to an Iowa Hawkeye Football game and we had a great time... even though it was freezing! The Scott boys: Jon, Ryan, and Dennis Scott! This is before the game... which means before it was freezing and before Iowa lost... sadly. As you can see in the stands behind us, everyone is all decked out in Iowa gear. It is definately a black and yellow experience!I was so excited to have a "date" with my hubby before the holiday started. We had a great time together. And thanks also for the Iowa hats... we love them!
