Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween everyone! We have had a wonderful Halloween holiday. Our first halloween tradition of course is carving pumpkins, and this is the first year that Brad has helped! We had a great time and once Brad realized that it was okay for him to get all dirty, he had no problem digging out his little "Brad sized" pumpkin. We had picked out our pumpkins at a pumpkin patch on the way home from Nauvoo last Saturday and this is the one that Brad picked. I picked the bigger one because it had such an amazing stem... check that out!
Brad and Dad carving our pumpkins!
"Dad is so funny!" - Brad ... This picture was so cute, I just had to share it. Look at him smiling at his Dad!
"Isn't my pumpkin great... I am the funny man!" -Brad
After digging out the pumpkins, we carved, and of course we couldn't have him too close to those knives, so he got to paint (with water) his little pumpkin. He had a pretty good time!
Brad and Mom on the front step with his pumpkin. He was so excited with the whole event!
At our church, we had a "Trunk-or-Treat" party. Brad's halloween costume is a cow. He looked adorable. So fun!
Dad and Mom went to a Law School Halloween Party! Of course we had to dress up, so our costume idea was... "Burger KING and Dairy QUEEN". What do you think. Brad got a babysitter, and Dad and Mom had a fun night out!
Halloween Night: Well, Halloween night was definately a success! Brad had a blast. We had been trying to teach him how to say "Trick or Treat", and he did pretty good... until he saw the candy! Once the people would come to their door, we would say "Trick or Treat", and Brad would just put his hand out to get the candy... it was really funny. This kid is just so smart and makes us laugh everyday!
We tried to get some pictures of him in front of the pumpkins, but he was way too fancinated with his full bucket of candy. When we got home, he went on a candy craze and was happy only when some candy was in his mouth... it took about 10 min. after walking in the door to get him distracted with some water and a movie. What a night to remember. It makes me smile even now!
Brad is here picking another piece of candy to start unwrapping. I guess he figured, that as long as I was distracted with the camera, he was unstoppible. So smart!

Oh, Mindy, love those pictures! Brad is adorable.
Glad you had such a great time. I didn't even realize we forgot to carve pumpkins until I read your blog (apparently it wasn't high on my kids' list of things to do, either).
