Well, obviously you have realized that I am no good at this whole blogging thing, but I am going to try and be better. So, here is an update on what we have been doing in Iowa this past month.
*As you know, Jon has been attending Law School. Jon time includes Monday FHE, study, study, study, study, Friday date night, and then we round the weekend off with more studying. He is amazing. He is definately learning a lot, even though he doesnt see much of an end at this point. I can tell he is learning stuff when he talks to me about school and has to define most terms for me... Anyway, he is doing great and we are learning to enjoy time home with him when we can!
*As you can see, his schedule is pretty tight, so Brad and I get to spend a lot of time together, which has been so fun. We are really enjoying our friends here in our complex. They are amazing for me, and Brad has grown up so much as he is playing with so many older kids. His talking skills are definately improving. It is really fun. This past week he talks so much and he tries to repeat every last word from the sentence that I say. It is really cute and makes me smile. Jon is always amazed how much progress he makes and all the new things Brad is doing when he gets home each night.
*Also, to add to our busy schedule, but some exciting news, I have a job. I found a nursing job at a hospital about 30 min. away and they are hiring me for part-time, only one day a week. I am really excited to start doing some more nursing things again, but I am also thrilled that the schedule is so part-time. I am working in the Cardio Pulmonary Unit: here he do all the tests for hearts and lungs such as Stress Test, some ECHOs, Bronchs, Telemetry 24-48 hr test, etc. I am excited to learn more about it and feel more comfortable in the environment.
Well, this is our update. It has been fun. I am really trying to get it in my head that blogging is not a big deal and the more I do it then the easier it is so hopefully I can realize that an just make a post often enough that I dont have to start over again every time. Blah Blah Blah... well, enough of that...
Here are a couple pictures that are sure to make you smile. Brad is starting to listen and understand that when I have the camera and say "smile", he knows what to do.

The carousel at the Mall. Brad had a blast looking for Jon everytime we went around.

Mindy and Brad in front of the gates to the football stadium. Iowa football is a big deal all around the state. It is crazy on game days, but also very exciting.

Brad always has a blast playing at the park. He has really caught on to the fun of these "rocking toys" or whatever they are called.

Tire swing with Brad and Dad! Brad actually holds on all by himself really well.

Playing at the beach has also been a fun summer outting with our friends. During september, we went to the beach about 3 times and just enjoying playing in the sand and water. As you can see, Brad get pretty focused! Oh, so fun!

Here is one of the latest pictures of our sweet Brad. He is smiling for the camera on this one. It just makes my heart sing to remember how happy he was at the park this day.

That was a great update and cute pictures! Nice to find a part-time job like that, I know what it feels like to be at "home" with the kids while the hubby is studying...all the time... It's nice to get a break every now and then, and hey might as well get paid while taking that break. Your cuz
You posted!
Your Bradley is so sweet. I just want to kiss him. There is something so wonderful about little boys, isn't there? So glad you're hanging in there!
I love when little talkers say the last word of each sentence! You can have a lot of fun with that. "Bradley, this is your dad." "Dad!" "Bradley, your daddy is such a dork!" "Dork!" Then you can hear "Dad dork!" for a few days. Sigh.
I love the pictures...especially the last one.
Brad is SO cute!
Glad you are enjoying Iowa and have found a job.
Say "Hi" to Andrew for us if you see him again!
I'm so impressed that you are still having a Friday date night and FHE. During Richie's 1st year, I really didn't see him at all other than to go to sleep tonight and when I handed him his food for dinner.
I'm so glad you posted! It was fun to read about your adventures. Congrats on a job! Job searching is awful, I know. I miss you, but I'm glad to see that y'all happy.
Hey Mindy!, your baby is growing soo much!. Congrats on your new job!, it job sounds different than what you did around here huh?, EXCITING THOUGH!.
