Emily ~ Now 4 days old

Our precious Emily Ruth is now 4 days old. It has been wonderful having her in our family. Brad has come to the realization that she is here to stay, and when he wakes up in the morning, he runs into our room to point to "Baby Sister" with big smiles! Emily has been sleeping well (at least in my mind). She has given me 2 sets of 3 hours at once for the past two nights. Horray! Here are some pictures we have taken in the past couple days of our family. Good night my sweet Emily... Newest family picture before leaving the hospital. Wow, we are now a family of four!! Emily all dressed up in her "coming home" outfit. She is our little princess! I just love staring at her face while she is sleeping. She is so small and so beautiful! Emily is very loved by her big brother. Brad always wants to be next to his "Baby Sister", as he so lovingly refers to her. He is also thrilled to be in any pictures lately, since he is realizing that must be how to get attention since Mom is taking so many pictures of Emily. I love this picture. She was wide awake with her eyes open and just looking around. She has beautiful big eyes. (I believe they are blue... we will have to see if that sticks or not.) These two are of Mommy playing dress up. We gave her a bath, and then I decided that since I have a girl... we are totally going all out. It was so fun. She is such a beauty! And again... check out those eyes!

Oh, she's a doll. I'm glad your boy is adjusting well. I still don't leave my two girls in the same room alone. :)
