A Boy and His Sword

During the Halloween season, I found this sword at the dollar store and thought that maybe it would work with Jon's costume. Well, it didn't, but Brad sure loves it. I mean, he's a boy - how do you keep the sword away from the boy... it's like they were made for each other. He has been running around the house on his stick horse, swing his sword and shouting, "Come on horsey... get em!" Emily just hangs out on the floor and watches the whole show, and loves it. I asked Brad to pose with his sword to I could take a picture, and he decided to show the camera his really cool sword. Even though this is a plastic sword, we definately have sword rules that must be obeyed in the house. First, Brad is only allowed to hit the floor with his sword, and if this rule is broken, the sword goes in time-out. Secondly, if the sword hits any people - it leaves the house forever. He has been doing pretty well, and so far his sister is still enjoying the presence of the sword.
