Peek-A-Boo!
Well, the other day, Emily discovered that if she goes over to the side of the crib, she is able to peek through the side and see everything that happens. She loves it. She has been able to get on her belly now for about 3 weeks, but she never before realized she was able to see through the crib. But now when I lay her down for a nap or at night, she rolls over to her belly, and manuvers her body so she can peek through. She smiles and loves it. She watches her brother and listens when Dad tells a story. Bradley loves it because he feels like he now has a playmate in his room. He will talk to her and laughs, and says, "Mom, come see Emily.... Mom, come see in her bed!" I love watching the two of them interact and enjoy each others company. Also, she is starting to accidently drop her nummy through the slot in her crib and then it's gone... oh boy... mom to the rescue!
Also, she is now old enough that she understands where the door is in relation to her room, and so I have to hide whenever I check on her because if she is awake she is looking at the door waiting for someone to come in and play with her.
She is looking towards the door. She really loves that she can see us!
She just smashes her face into the crib so she can see everything possible. It is so funny!
