Our wonderful week with Great-Grandma!

We had the opportunity and blessing to go to Kansas City this past week (10/11-10/17) and spend 5 days with the kids' Great-Grandma Scott (Jon's Grandma) who was visiting from Utah. We had a great time. Brad absolutely loved his Great-Grandma, and it was so fun for Great-Grandma to see Emily for the first time. The kids and I traveled down on Tuesday, and then Jon came Friday night after school and spent the weekend. Here are some pictures to show our fun time with Grandma! Emily and Great-Grandma meet for the first time. Grandma loves the kids and it was so fun for her to see Emily! Brad bonded with Great-Grandma right off and just loved being around her. He is just hanging out watching TV with Grandma on the bed.
After we went to the Kansas City Zoo, Brad was talking all about the animals. He played with Great-Grandma and designated her lap as the animal zoo. As you can see, the zoo was very full today! Grandma was so patient and just loved it!
Emily just started rolling from her back to her front on Saturday (10/9/10) and on the Wednesday (10/13/10) we spent in Kansas City, she discovered that she could roll over and over and over again - all the way across the room. It was so funny. Grandma just loved watching her roll around the room!
SMILES! :) We love you Emily! (The pink blanket in the picture is the one Great-Grandma gave to Emily when she was born! We love it! Thanks.)
I love, love, love this picture with Emily and Great-Grandma! I just makes me smile!
While in Kansas City, we SKYPED on the computer. This is during our conversation with the Hills Family in WA. Brad just cuddled up on Great-Grandma to talk with his cousins! Thanks for coming to visit Grandma and making our week so wonderful! We love you!
